Youth Action

Effective, sustained, and equitable climate action is desperately needed to combat anthropogenic climate change.

This is why the YCAA empowers students across New York City to become global leaders of climate action.

  • Schools present an incredible opportunity for sustainable growth and youth leadership. Empowering students across New York City to become leaders of climate action paves the way for a more sustainable future for both the city and the world.

  • Our annual YCAA Interscholastic Conference brings New York City student activists together to:

    • Engage with climate professionals

    • Meet student activists across our 14 school network

    • Develop interscholastic climate initiatives

    • Attend educational workshops

    • Showcase climate action achievements

Our annual Interscholastic Conference serves as a catalyst for lasting environmental leadership.

  • Our Partner Schools become hubs of coordinated climate action. Student Ambassadors pursue Climate Action Initiatives (CAIs) in order to further sustainable action in their communities.
